How to Uninstall freewindowscleaner
Method 1: From Windows Settings (Recommended)
- Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps (or Apps & Features on older Windows).
- Find freewindowscleaner in the list.
- Click Uninstall and follow the prompts.
- Restart your PC (optional, recommended).
Method 2: Using the Uninstaller
- Open the Start Menu and type freewindowscleaner Uninstaller, or
- Navigate to C:\Program Files\freewindowscleaner and double‑click Uninstall.exe.
- Follow the on‑screen instructions to remove the application.
Optional: Remove leftover data
freewindowscleaner stores temporary logs/settings in your user profile. These are safe to delete:

Troubleshooting
- Uninstall button is greyed out: Reboot Windows and try again. Ensure no background scans are running.
- Installer/Uninstaller blocked by antivirus: Temporarily disable real‑time protection, complete uninstall, then re‑enable protection.
- Still seeing startup entries: Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc → Startup apps and disable any remaining entries.
